AJ and Delaney, a dating couple living in Chattanooga, TN, have always been passionate about discussing deep thought-provoking ideas in an effort to learn more, grow in their faith, and expand their worldview.
AJ is an entrepreneur owning businesses in several industries to include real estate, education, restaurants, and more. He is also involved with various nonprofits globally and enjoys being a part of their mission. By utilizing his assets AJ aspires to leave a lasting positive impact on this world. One of these nonprofits led AJ to meet his partner and podcast cohost, Delaney. Delaney is a licensed school counselor and pre-licensed professional counselor with a strong sense of duty to serve others. She helps her clients overcome mental and emotional traumas, resolve relationship issues, and learn to better navigate life’s challenges. Though this platform does not represent her professional opinion, she often brings the mental health side of the discussion to the table.
Throughout their relationship, AJ and Delaney often found themselves engaged in deep conversation, sometimes agreeing and sometimes disagreeing, about various theological topics. They both concur on fully researching a subject as to have a sound understanding of it and so they would use every resource at hand to form an opinion. Feeling as though their discussions could potentially benefit others they one day commented, “Maybe we should just start a podcast?”, and thus Soul Lab was born. Join Delaney and AJ as they exchange their perspective on air in order to grow in their faith and expand their minds.
